Wicked: For Good (2025)
Wokeness
2/10
Minimal
A couple of light references, nothing that drives the story.
Audience
72% audience score
1 ratingsWicked: For Good shoehorns a gay sidekick who displaces a traditional female role, reducing her to a whisper, while pushing feminist drivel of Elphaba toppling the Wizard's "patriarchal" fraud as empowerment triumph. Subtle DEI nods erode classic Oz magic for agenda-driven slop.
What earned the score
Gay Sidekick Ousts Female
The film features a gay male best friend character who replaces a female character from the original story and appears in a reduced role with two or three lines.
Feminist Empowerment Vs Patriarchy
The narrative frames Elphaba's success in exposing the Wizard's deceptive patriarchal regime and her powerful role as the Wicked Witch, juxtaposed with the Wizard's failure as a fraudulent male leader, as a central ideological message of female empowerment against authority.

Parents Guide
Sex Mild
Several women's dresses reveal noticeable cleavage throughout the film. A man and woman share a brief but passionate kiss. One musical sequence shows a woman singing about inviting a man to her bed; she begins to undress but remains covered by a blanket, wearing a bra and spanks. They kiss in bed before the camera cuts away, and the following scene shows them lying together, with the man shirtless - a moment that likely implies sexual intimacy. Another scene depicts a couple beginning to undress for an intimate moment before the film cuts away. (This moment continues a similar scene from Wicked: Part One.)
Violence Mild
A character's heart begins to shrink. Not seen but heard and said.
Profanity None
Profanity includes in-world exclamations such as "Oh Oz," "Thank Oz," and "Shiz." There is also a vain reference to deity with the use of "Oh Lord."
One use of shut up.
Drugs Mild
A characters is seen drinking from a bottle (potentially alcohol).
Frightening Scenes Moderate
.
The Tin-Man's appearance may appear frighting to some.
