Female Hosts as Combat Leads
Maeve fights assassins with lethal force, while Dolores pursues a world-conquering campaign for the hosts. The show puts female characters in fighter and military-leader roles, though the conflict is framed around humans versus hosts rather than gender.

Parents Guide
Sex Severe
Sex is a recurring theme in the show, as guests (humans) are pretty much allowed to do whatever they want to the hosts (androids), including having sex with them.
Most episodes have little to no actual sex, but the sexual content there is can be pretty graphic.
The hosts are often naked when brought in for repairs, showing full male and female nudity, though non-sexual.
A man drags a host into a barn in the first episode, and it's heavily implied that he rapes her, though nothing is seen.
Violence Severe
The hosts (androids) are very human-like and bleed like humans whenever shot, stabbed, etc.
Lots of deaths (and hosts are often revived after death) through shooting, stabbing, etc., always resulting in very bloody and gory wounds.
A woman has a man cut out a bullet from inside of her, doing it herself when he hesitates.
A woman cuts off her own arm after it's trapped in a large metal door.
Traumatic/Triggering extreme Sexual Violence & Exploitation of females.
Many shootings and stabbings.
The massacre of numerous settlers by Native Americans is depicted. A scalped man is briefly visible. A Native American clubs a settler resulting in a large amount of blood spray and another man is shot with an arrow and thrown from his horse. A Native American attacks and tries to scalp a woman. Native Americans are shot up close. A woman is threatened by a man with a knife.
An android wakes up on an operating table with her side cut open and a graphic wound briefly visible. She slips on her own blood as she jumps off the table.
Profanity Severe
f**k and s**t are used frequently alongside lesser profanity like b**ch.
Drugs Moderate
Alcohol and tobacco use.
Frightening Scenes Moderate
Robot women and robot children are slaughtered and abused by the guests, this could upset sensitive viewers.
There's a theme of how guests are allowed to do pretty much anything they want to the hosts without consequences, including torturing, murdering, and raping them, which is disturbingly reminiscent of slavery in real history.
One character regains memories of her murdered daughter from a different "narrative". It's even more disturbing when a man reveals he killed her just to see if he had any humanity, only to feel no regret at all.
Many human characters are very evil, pretty much abusing the hosts without consequences for their own sick amusement, under the pretense that it's not real, even though it clearly has severe consequences for humanity.
