KPop Demon Hunters peddles a feminist power fantasy with flawless girl-group slayers butchering demons in skimpy outfits, prioritizing girlboss empowerment over coherent storytelling. Subtle LGBT undertones and suggestive youth dances reek of Hollywood's woke agenda, sidelining traditional heroism for vapid DEI fluff.

Parents Guide

  • Sex None

There's a scene of the main girls laying in a hot tub. Only their heads and shoulders are shown.

    Some mild suggestive references.

There is a scene where Abby from the Saja Boys shows his abs along with Mira and Zoey being attracted to it.

I think none. But a man's body (upper) is shown . Fans are sharing among saja boys and huntrix members.

There is a rumour about Mira, Abby, and Romance, being in a love triangle.

In the scene where Huntrix shares the stage with the Saja Boys, there is a slide with a ball pit below it and all the fans and audience in the crowd shout "in the balls in the balls" telling them to slide in to them when they do someone says "Huntrix is in the balls" which sounds like a dirty joke.

  • Violence Mild

Demons get sliced in half. One scene near the front with demons' faces crashing on the plane's windows.

Brief sight of blood when a main character is scratched on the arm by a demon, the lighting and fast paced action makes it very easy to miss though.

Concepts of killing, destroying with a sword, chasing, violence, throwing arrows, using guns and knives (a group) these contain moderate levels of violence.

    Rumi cuts a mannequin"s head.

7+ fake fantasy violence, mild language, romantic reference, action, humor, self-acceptance, mild mature themes, mild emotional moments.

  • Profanity None

    "Suck" respectively.

Brief language: A couple uses of "suck".

    "Freaking" is used.

A character says "d**n it" in Korean when being knocked.

Suck, ragged, and a Piece of korean profanity.and in general, there is a lot of street language in the Mirada and rap sections.

In TakeDown One Of The Huntrix Say's "sin".

    3 uses of "balls"

Sin is said in a song.

  • Drugs None
  • Frightening Scenes Mild

The demons may be scary to some people.

The cat in this movie can scare younger viewers.

The movie starts as light-hearted, but gets darker as it carries on.

The Your Idol performance is visually striking, with dark colors and intense lighting, creating a haunting atmosphere.

Suggested new MPA description: Rated PG (for fantasy action/violence, scary images, thematic elements, some suggestive material and brief language.)

Reviews

  • 3 stars Noticeable

Decent plot and character development. Although animation is not my thing, this movie held my interest in attention.

  • 4 stars All Clear

Just because men are emotional doesn’t make them gay. Very homophobic assumption.
