Women as Combat Powerhouses
Black Widow is shown repeatedly whipping and beating male opponents, while Wanda also fights using her powers. The film places women in prominent combat roles within its superhero action ensemble.
Woman as Lethal Superhero Fighter
Natasha is among the Avengers fighting in the film’s action, and the review specifically flags her willingness to kill. Her role places a woman in the traditionally male-coded fighter position, a decorative gender-role pattern rather than a driver of the story.
Details
Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies.

Parents Guide
Sex None
Men wear clothes that show their muscles and they also appear shirtless, AKA sexual objectification.
A man and a woman kiss.
Nothing except for one kiss.
Violence Moderate
Near the end of the film, three characters have an extremely intense and violent fight. Right before this, they watch a video where two people are brutally killed (one off camera)
When the trio finds the other winter soldiers they have bloody bullet wounds in thier head.
There is lots of violence throughout, some of it contains mild blood. There are also ENDLESS fights such as people getting shot, blown up, thrown, kicked, punched, but surprisingly, there aren't too many injuries. During most of the fight scenes the viewer really feels the impact behind each characters attacks, they really feel like they are getting knocked out. Tony Stark, looks like he has a black eye for some time in the film.
A man attempts to commit suicide, but the gun is pointed away by another man as he shoots.
A body is seen dead in a bathtub. Only the arm is seen silhouetted through the shower curtain with a little dry blood on the side of the tub. The man's face is seen briefly later with a little bit of blood coming out of his mouth.
The most intense MCU film to date, especially characters who have been allies in previous films fight each other. Violence on par with The Winter Soldier.
Lot's of fighting and non stop action.
During the fight between Cap and Rumlow, cap breaks Rumlows arm after he tries to stab him. The crunch is heard and the arm can be seen disjointed.
Very intense and violent. About the same as Winter Soldier (2014). The airport and the final fight are very intense. In the final fight, there is some blood.
In one scene, the Winter Soldier kills two people in a car. Bloody and kind of scary.
Profanity Mild
Spider-Man says "Holy s**t!" when he sees Ant Man turning into a giant.
"Jesus" is abused.
2 very clear uses of GD.
Drugs Mild
Alcohol is consumed from a Highball glass.
One man is seen in a house strewn with bottles.
Frightening Scenes Moderate
The ending is pretty intense and somewhat difficult to watch.
The premise of the movie may be upsetting to those who hate seeing heroes fight each other.
H.Y.D.R.A. operative Brock Rumlow returns as the terrorist Crossbones. Crossbones usually wears a intimidating mask to hide a severely scarred face.
The scene where Bucky kills Tony's parents is quite intense, as Bucky kills without remorse.
The final fight between Iron Man vs Captain America and Bucky Barnes is very intense and to some people is very emotional.
This movie is the darkest one in general due to many heroes turning against each other and fighting each other.
The main villain drowns one man, which can be kind of scary and dark.
