In "Sentimental Value," fleeting 1960s flashbacks inject mild LGBT titillation via passionate lesbian kisses at libertine parties, while a soliloquy blasts clerical betrayal with fiery anti-Western undertones, but these woke whispers barely overshadow the film's nostalgic, family-centered narrative.
