Parents Guide
Sex None
When a character suggests using a rope to "tie us up," another character replies, "kinky!"
A shirtless man opens his apartment door and we see his bare chest and abdomen.
Brief suggestive references.
There isn't any sex or nudity in the movie.
Violence Moderate
Violence is fairly strong towards the end.
There is a sequence that includes gore and onscreen violence; this is the only part of the film where this is directly shown.
Images of gore & body horror are present but only one scene.
Blood is seen splattered environments in various scenes; once when it is implied a man has been mauled by a creature, another when a bird had slammed into a wall, etc.
We see a blood stain on the wall with a trail of feathers leading to a dead bird. There is a closeup and some blood is shown but not graphic .
Characters are seen with deformed faces.
There is gore and even though there is minimal it is very unsettling.
A deflated suit (likely a rotted corpse) is shown lying on the floor. Blink-and-you'll-miss-it.
Profanity Moderate
"F**k" and "s**t" are used numerous times. There is someone (likely a child) changing the information on this thread.
Drugs Mild
A character mentions he is under the influence of cannabis.
Multiple characters drink beer.
A character is shown drinking alcohol from the bottle.
Character mentions he was on Pot.
Multiple scenes where characters drink.
Frightening Scenes Severe
Flashing images which may affect viewers with photosensitive epilepsy.
Most of the VHS-style scenes (which are about 10 minutes each) are incredibly intense and involve chasing, screaming and an incredible sense of dread. Though mostly devoid of gore, the atmosphere and sound-layering make these scenes quite disturbing.
Unsettling images (strange faces, humanoid creatures...)
The second half of the film is much more rather psychologically disturbing than the first half just being mysterious and strangely suspenseful.
Moments come sporadically, but when they do, they can become intense and stressful to watch, especially towards the end.
True to the original Creepypasta, this film doesn't rely on jumpscares to be scary, instead using atmosphere and tension for such.
Very, very stressful and tense film.
The movie overall is VERY uncanny and distressing. It is very unsettling and creepy rather that just jump scares. The third act in particular is EXTREMELY stressful to watch. The film featutes many distorted and "wrong" things that can really get under your skin and be super creepy at some points.
Contains many disturbing scenes which vary with uncanny creatures and very thrilling scenes not reccomened for younger viewers under the age of 12.
