What earned the score

Homoeroticism Framed Through Historical Relativism

A woman’s discussion of her dissertation on homoeroticism in ancient art presents same-sex sexuality as subject to changing historical interpretations. The academic aside injects a relativist lens into the film’s treatment of homoeroticism.
Incidental Gay Identity

A woman says she is gay, adding a passing LGBT identity reference without any stated effect on the plot or her character arc.
